Corrupted iPod Classic 5.5G
Hello everyone!
I am quite ashamed to make my first step here by asking for help, but We all had to start somewhere 😁
So...I've experienced quite weird problem today, and here's what is bothering me:
I am Windows user to start with, and today I went through the proces of updating my Windows to one of Insider Preview images.
Everything went flawlessly (blah blah), but now, once I plug in my iPod (80gb) and launch iTunes, I am being welcomed by two saddening notifications:
First one is directly from Windws, insisting on me to format before using this disc.
Of course I refuse (It contains very large collection of music, and last backup is from a month ago or so [I would be lacking some songs If i restored from that point - so no]) and proceed to iTunes to see what's going on.
There we go. It blocks me from accessing my songs on my laptop (Lenovo y50), even though after i disconnect iPod, I can freely listen to the songs directly from it.
Of course it comes to mind that the culprit of all this mess might be the unstable build of Windows (although everything works fine, just like before updating it...), but is there any way to fix this issue, other than:
1. restoring it to default/formatting
2. downgrading windows to earlier version and hoping it fixes itself?
If You need more info/details, I'm gonna fill it up asap 🙂
Any kind of help is really appreciated!
With regards,
Cris aka Zathura
